The County Clerk’s office requires appointments for submission of new pistol permits, expedited pistol amendments, pistol co-registration, passports and children's passport renewal, all others can be served on a walk-in basis.

PASSPORT

APPLICATIONS MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE APPOINTMENT IN BLACK INK
Limit of 3 family members per appointment. Schedule more as needed.

PASSPORT RENEWAL - CHILD ONLY

1 hour

ADULT renewals are done thru the mail directly to the U.S. Department of State. (Form DS-82)

PISTOL DEPARTMENT

EXPEDITED GUN AMENDMENT

15 minutes

Excludes Co-registering, restriction changes and transfers
- Bring copy of purchase receipt along with proof of Safe Act recertification.
- $10.00 expedited fee plus usual amendment fees
- Receive your new permit card(s) while you wait.

SUBMIT PISTOL APPLICATION

1 hour

Appointment must be within one month of having fingerprints done.

PISTOL CO-REGISTRATION

1 hour

Will need the following at appointment:
- Notarized Co-Register Form
- Amendment forms for BOTH owner and co-registrant
- Copy of co-registrant’s Pistol Permit (Front & Back) - if in person present original
- Copy of co-registrant’s driver’s license (Front & Back)- if in person present original
- Proof of Safe Act recertification for BOTH co-registrants
